Disease severity, patients education, age, carcinoma diagnosis had a significant impact on the scores of different domains. Proper psycho-education of the patients’ had a universal protective effect on both domains of quality of life and depression score. Conclusion: Proper psycho-education is essential. A further pre-post study after a psychiatric intervention is necessary to establish the importance of liaison services for these patients.
