Climate change and territory governance instruments

In the management of adaptation and mitigation processes for climate change, it is important to find appropriate governance tools. In this work we propose a GIS-based system, based on an intelligent probabilistic model. The model operates on climate, environmental and socio-economic data. The proposed system performs sophisticated analysis through spatial queries and provides useful answers to the territorial governance. It
could be used to define territorial policies in order to mitigate or adapt the social and economic choices to the climate change.
